Summary
Gameplay
marble madnessMarble Madness is a real classic. The game itself is much older than the GameBoy itself, but even today it is more fun playing this dexterity-game than most new games of this genre.

You control a marble in an environment that is a mixture between a maze and a landscape build with blocks. Your aim is to get the marble beyond the finishing line within a certain time. Problem is, that there are many "obstacles" you need to pass, like the killer marble that tries to push you to the "abyss" or the vacuum cleaners that try to suck up your marble. If your marble falls down it will either be broken (and the countdown continues until you get a new one) or be dizzy for some seconds and it will be more difficult to control.
Verdict This is the best conversion of a game to the GameBoy I have ever seen, better than e.g. the port-over of bust-a-move and much much better than the port-overs of the pinball games from spidersoft. I have a friend, which really doesn't like the GameBoy, but he liked the original Marble Madness, and when I showed him the "Pocket version" he was really enthusiastic about this game.

No wonder, it is the original, just in gray... and there is no way they could have made it better. I only think the game is a little bit easier than the original and the marbles get a broken more easily. But I could be mistaken.

Special thing with the GameBoy version is, that you can choose between
different kinds of controlling the marble (Normal control or a control of the marble that is rotated with 45°.

I bought this game at the flea market without an instruction booklet, so I cant look there, and I haven't been able to find a link-option for the two player game. (The original game can be played with two players)

Buy this game and you wont regret it!!
