Special "Torchic" Edition
(Added
2nd April 2003) Following the pearl white Limited
Edition "Final Fantasy" GBA SP will be an orange colored Pokémon Center GBA SP
that will be released in Japan soon.
Why orange? Well, it's because it's
a color scheme for one of the three starter Pokémon in Pokémon Ruby and Pokémon
Sapphire, Torchic.
The unit will be identical to all GBA SPs that have
been previously released but what's nice is the engraved silhouette of Torchic
on the lid.
The system will cost exactly the same as other GBA SP systems
in Japan, 12,500 yen, but it will only be available, for now, at the Tokyo and
Kyoto Pokémon Center stores, or online at their Japanese web site.
The
Torchic Orange system will go on sale on April 25th in Japan, with preorders
starting on April 11th.
No details on if this colored system will be
released in North America.
