Pokemon Center Japan, has announced the release of
its first ever Special Edition GameBoy Advance.
This time around, the Center has chosen to model
this edition after "Suikun", which Pokemon
fans will know as one of the "Legendary Cats"
in the Pokemon Gold & Silver GameBoy game.
Owing to Suikun's water type characteristics and
coloring, the Special Edition AGB will be encased in
a special "Suikun Blue" shell. Like the Special
Edition Gold & Silver Color GameBoy, the "Suikun
Blue" AGB will feature the same kind of metallic
coating that "shimmers" when viewed from different
angles in white light.
The Special
Edition AGB will also spot embossed silhouettes of
the ever popular Pikachu and Pichu on the bottom of
its screen.
It's Interesting to note that Pokemon Center has
chosen a much more sophisticated approach in color and
design for its first ever Special Edition GameBoy Advance.
Undoubtedly, Nintendo is putting across the message
that GameBoy Advance is no longer just a kid's toy,
but has matured into a full fledged handheld that even
adults would not find embarrassing to own.
